Tecsun Radios Antenna

I backordered this antenna, it arrived in a reasonable amount of time.It was posted in a long box and was moderately protected from damage, there were a couple of dings but that doesn’t effect it’s performance so its fine.This antenna picks up all of the frequencies I need and is far better than similar cheaper discone antenna, I highly recommend it for wide-band receiving.The provided cable with BNC connector at the device end is suitable for this antenna and should be great for most users, an SO-239 adaptor is also provided for those that need one.It is made of strong and durable materials suitable for outdoor use, it is also easy to assemble.Unfortunately for me the small screws that hold the antenna prongs in place were scattered throughout the box and 5 of them fell out as I was opening it, luckily after some time I was able to find all of them. If I was to make a suggestion for future packing I would suggest having those screws in a separate snap-lock bag so that they don’t get lost.Other than some minor inconveniences this was a positive purchasing experience, I prefer to help Aussie businesses and I don’t regret this purchase at all, in fact I am very happy with it.Overall I feel confident in recommending this antenna from Tecsun Radios Australia, just be careful while taking the contents out of the box in case the small screws fall out, they can be difficult to find on the ground. If you need to receive UHF signals and have been looking into discone antenna at a good price this could be what you are looking for.
