We sorted the correctly painted heads from the imperfect ones and set the flawed heads aside. These heads are structurally perfect and thread directly onto our metal stakes. The only issue is cosmetic. We could rework them, but the labor would cost more than buying new—and we don’t like tossing usable head in the dumpster. They can absolutely be used as is. Geese are not nearly as picky as hunters. Even though these are sentry specklebelly goose heads, you could easily repaint them into snows and blue heads.
